Event: Miami Swim Week "The Shows" - 6/2/24

Brazil was in the building as Badi Swimwear presented their latest collection during Miami Swim Week. Eight models walked the runway full of pizzazz and each model wore a swimsuit from this collection that's to die for. This fashion presentation brought the beach to the runway and gave the show's guests an opportunity to see themselves wearing such beautiful garments.

Barbara Cesar who is the founder of Badi Swimwear, created this brand in May of 2021. She is Brazilian, born and raised and moved to the United States in 2017. She currently resides in Miami, Fl. The name of this collection is called "Born in Brazil" and was inspired by the colors of the Brazilian flag.

The cuts in the garment were made to enrich the curves of the women who wear them. The V-cut for the bottoms, creates an illusion of a smaller waist and the triangle tops are the vibes for this collection. Barbara tried to fuse the traditional Brazilian small cuts with some of the trends of the year. We asked Barbara, What makes her brand unique in comparison to other swimwear brands out there? She responded "Definitely the quality of the fabric and the connectors. Also, the cuts are made to enrich the woman's body". In the next five years or so, I want my brand to be one of the most prestigious swimwear brands showcasing in events such as Milan fashion week. I believe in the quality and the concept of this brand. It's more than a swimwear line, it’s a symbol of empowerment".
