Event: NYFW Powered by Art Hearts Fashion - 9/8/22

     Fashion was the order of the day as Alexandra Popescu-York presented her collection “Divas” at the Art Hearts Fashion Show during New York Fashion week on September 8th, 2022. Alexandra was inspired to create this collection to be Red Carpet Ready and Oscar Academy Awards Ceremony pieces. Designing and being an artist is what she has done since the age of three. She became a full-time designer in High school and studied art and design at a special High School and University. Alexandra’s line gave me a sequin meets fedora theme.

     Most models wore fedoras, wavy hair and patent leather thigh high boots with their dresses and gowns. Her colors translated very well in the show. The garments allowed for movement and her beading was impressive on the satin gowns. A noted highlight was the ombre sequin.
